UPCYCLING, DEADSTOCK & ZERO WASTE | Daniela Llulluna, Patricia Ninahualpa, Mishell Sandoval
We design aiming at zero waste. Creative Director María Puente Silva takes into consideration the size of the textiles before designing the clothing patterns. All scraps are taken into account and made into new pieces using patchwork.
We also use deadstock fabrics found in stores and factories as key materials. These are the last meters of excellent quality fabrics that are too small for a brand to mass-produce, but just enough for a few of our pieces.
Upcycling is also one of our resources for environmental sustainability. We transform pre-worn garments into new ones, such as jeans, blankets and curtains.
